WHAT WILL YOU DO? 

Lead the charge in transforming our supply chain function. As Director of Supply Chain, you’ll be the key player in managing every aspect of our supply chain journey—from procurement to delivery. Your role is to craft smart strategies that align with our goals, connect sales with operations seamlessly, and oversee all our supply chain activities to keep things running smoothly and efficiently. You’ll be the conductor of our logistical orchestra, making sure everything from procurement to distribution hits all the right notes. Your superpower? Turning complex processes into a well-oiled, efficiency-driven machine. With your strategic vision and leadership skills, you'll ensure our supply chain runs like a dream and delivers on time, every time. RESPONSIBILITIES 

Strategic Planning: Create and implement supply chain strategies that match our company goals and adapt to market needs. Use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements. 

Sales to Operations Flow: Bridge the gap between sales and operations to ensure smooth communication and accurate assessments for new product developments. 

S&OP Development: Strengthen our Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to support our growth and evolving needs. 

Procurement: Oversee sourcing and procurement teams to ensure our materials cost-effectively and on time. 

Inventory Management: Balance supply and demand to keep inventory levels optimized, minimize costs, and reduce waste. 

Logistics and Distribution: Enhance our logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution to improve efficiency. 

Supplier Management: Build and nurture strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure high performance. 

Team Leadership: Guide and support our supply chain team, creating an environment that promotes growth and high performance. 

Continuous Improvement: Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve supply chain performance.

Risk Management: Spot and address potential supply chain risks to keep our business running smoothly. 

Sustainability: Understand our approach to sustainability and ensure practices within our supply chain align with our environmental goals.

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Relevant work experience will be considered. 
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. 
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management. 
  • Proven track record of successful project management and process improvement. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools (e.g., ERP systems). 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada. 
  • Willing to relocate to beautiful Invermere, British Columbia.
