Your Future Job
The Creative Director is responsible for leading and driving the creative vision and strategy for Daiya Foods. This includes providing creative leadership cross-functionally, defining and maintaining brand consistency, and developing innovative campaigns that resonate with our audience. The Creative Director will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that Daiya's creative output aligns with business objectives and market trends.

What You Will Do:
Creative Leadership & Strategy
  • Provide creative leadership cross-functionally throughout the organization.
  • Define, design, describe, and defend the Daiya creative standard.
  • Develop and implement a cohesive creative strategy that aligns with business financial goals and overall organizational objectives.
  • Establish a clear creative vision and plan for the brand.
  • Ensure all creative outputs are strategically positioned to engage our audience and drive growth.
Brand Consistency & Innovation
  • Maintain a cohesive brand identity across all communication channels.
  • Develop packaging solutions aligned with brand guidelines and consumer preferences.
  • Ensure that creative work not only aligns with our brand but also captures the interest of targeted audiences through innovative storytelling and design.
  • Exercise creative agility to engage with cultural trends and audience conversations, particularly on social media platforms.
Creative Content Development
  • Generate original concepts that result in effective communication across both print and digital mediums.
  • Develop engaging and high-quality digital content, including motion graphics, for digital shelves, websites, social media platforms, and digital POS materials.
  • Collaborate on marketing campaigns that translate business objectives into clear and measurable creative strategies.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions that encourage strategic and creative thinking.

Partnership & Resource Management
  • Liaise with agency and vendor partners to support and develop long-standing, cost-effective partnerships.
  • Efficiently organize, schedule, and manage resources to meet ongoing creative needs and deadlines.
  • Strategically allocate resources and prioritize projects based on short- and long-term goals.
  • Forecast and manage budgets to support creative initiatives.

Performance Analysis & Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor key metrics and analytics to assess the effectiveness of creative strategies.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve creative processes and workflows.
  • Use insights gained from creative projects to inform future actions and strategies.
  • Adapt creative approaches to maintain relevance in a fluctuating digital landscape.

Your Background
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a senior creative leadership role, preferably in the food or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful creative strategies.
  • Strong experience in digital content creation, including motion graphics and social media campaigns.
  • Experience managing agency and vendor relationships.

Compensation, Benefits & Perks
Daiya's compensation offerings are based on a pay-for-performance philosophy. The pay range for this position is from $80,000 - 120,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. Permanent team members may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
