Victoria Newitt Recruitment has been retained by our client Fraserway RV to search for their next TWO Sales Managers at their flagship location in Abbotsford,BC.

Position Profile

The Sales Manager - Abbotsford Dealership, is responsible for ensuring their team is set-up for success to deliver against key Dealership performance metrics that are also aligned with the Fraserway RV Mission, Vision and Values. They will work closely with the General Sales Manager and National Sales Development Manager, to identify innovative ways to ensure their Dealership is poised for scalable and sustainable growth while maintaining Fraserway RVs’ core values. Success in this role will be defined by the collective achievements and growth of the teams they inspire and lead.

In this role, the Sales Manager will achieve unit and revenue sales targets for sales within the dealership. Setting and demonstrating every day the key selling behaviors that are benchmarks of high-performance sales teams, will be critical to success in this role. You will spend your days leading, coaching, setting specific targets and developing the sales consultants within your team. The desired result of your leadership and selling acumen is a best-in-class selling team hard wired to meet and exceed revenue targets while promptly and professionally addressing the needs of customers. The Sales Manager is also required to generate and deliver sales and local marketing initiatives, revenue growth and client retention strategies.

Mandate

  • Ensure the Abbotsford Dealership and People initiatives are aligned, and the team behaviours support the Company Mission, Vision & Values.
  • Lead and partner with the General Sales Manager & Dealership Sales Team in understanding current strengths, areas of opportunity and challenges.
  • Inspire and lead the Dealership Sales Team in identifying innovative and scalable business strategies and action plans that nurture its strengths, exploit areas of opportunity, and overcome challenges.
  • In partnership with the General Sales Manager and National Sales Development Manager, achieving expected top-line, bottom-line and market-share results in alignment to short and long-term Dealership and overstretching Fraserway RV Business Objectives.
  • Drive and increase sales of RV’s, parts & service so that Fraserway RV is in the top two in market share.
  • Relentless pursuit of excellence in servicing our employees (eNPS) and our Customers (cNPS)

Primary Responsibilities

Sales (90%)

  • Provide effective leadership and mentorship to the Dealership Sales team, to ensure it capitalizes on the full potential of its sales team.
  • In partnership with the General Sales Manager and National Sales Development Manager, responsible for driving sales and overseeing new and used inventory turns.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor detailed inside and outside sales strategies and objectives.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and client retention levels.
  • Relentless pursuit of exceeding customer satisfaction and google reviews.
  • Implement and execute the Company's marketing strategy and business plans.
  • Set sales expectations for every Fraserway RV sales representative, including customer expectations and quota achievement.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints in a courteous, professional and in a timely manner.
  • Determine staffing requirements and oversee the hiring of staff whilst balancing P&L objectives.
  • Create a safe environment for the discussion and resolution of issues and concerns.
  • Work in concert with other department and business leaders to assure congruence with sales operations.
  • Complete various sales reports.
  • Attract, hire and retain top talent. Ensure identified ‘HiPo’ employees are receiving appropriate and timely business and professional development.
  • In partnership with the General Sales Manager and National Sales Development Manager, identify effective and targeted community communication and customer-facing activities, that also align with the overall company’s branding strategy, “The Place for Everything RV”.
  • Promote collaboration, innovative thinking and sharing of ideas, to identify best business & people practices.
  • Stay abreast of consumer trends, demands, changing tastes and competitor value propositions, to ensure our brands and models align with customer needs and wants.
  • Establish and maintain positive and prudent relationships with vendors.
  • Utilize technology to effectively market dealership offerings to target marketplace customers.
  • Ongoing soliciting of employee and customer feedback, to identify Dealership strengths and areas of opportunity & improvement.

Finance & Insurance (10%)

  • Support revenue generation through the Business Office by ethically promoting and selling products for both financial and after-market items for clients to consider in their buying decision
  • Promote extended service agreements, financing, tire replacement and credit life, accident and health insurance plans to customers
  • Monitor all retail, and to a lesser extent, wholesale sales transaction through IDS and F&I Point by capping, uncapping, vehicle identification number input on trades, lot location, GL location, vehicle status, delivery date co-ordination, assigning trade-in vehicle stock numbers and odometer verification input
  • To fully disclose all vehicle options, programs, financial arrangements, taxes and F.S.O. products and all monies terms and conditions associated with them
  • Schedule & organize delivery of units

Entrance Qualifications

Experiences, Skills & Education

  • University Degree or College Diploma.
  • Minimum of 3 years successful related leadership experience at a management level within the automotive, RV and/or power sports industry – experience in a regional or national customer service-driven business will also be considered.
  • Able to see the “big picture” and work with their leadership team in developing strategies and action plans to achieve it.
  • Adept at assisting teams deconstruct complex information, identify critical control points and a clear path forward.
  • Proven success in growing an organization’s market share and profitability.
  • Stays abreast of industry and consumer interests. Good ability to anticipate future industry and consumer trends.
  • Strong strategist adept at assisting teams building out sub-set strategies and go-forward action plans, inclusive of ‘key’ stakeholder involvement, milestones, and timelines to achieve the end goal(s).

  • Broad understanding of sales, marketing, operations, risk management, finance, supply chain and talent management.
  • Accomplished at identifying and refining business processes, systems, practices etc. that ensure delivery of unparalleled results for the business, employees, and customers.

Compensation:
The base salary for this role is $80,000.00, plus 30% bonus and an uncapped commission program.
Employment offers are determined by knowledge, experience and consideration for internal equity. Plus competitive variable performance bonus.
