Are you a passionate eCommerce leader who wants to build an outstanding world-class vision and execute on it?  Are you a self-starter motivated to achieve great results?   Our client is a passionate specialty coffee industry leaders with a world of opportunity ahead of them.  49th Parallel Coffee Roasters is seeking a Head of eCommerce to join their fantastic team at our Roastery in Burnaby, BC. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver an overall North American eCommerce strategy, incorporating both owned channel and Amazon to deliver exceptional growth results
  • Establish and track metrics for success, such as traffic, engagement and conversion; build great scorecards
  • Establish Amazon growth strategy including investment, performance and ROI, and execute it
  • Manage online P&L to maximize profitability and drive revenue
  • Enhance the online customer experience, performance and ROI; use analytics and A/B testing to optimize site features and strategies to improve UX and conversion rate
  • Stay current with industry best practices for web/mobile eCommerce features and functionality
  • Develop, validate and communicate fulfillment approach working collaboratively with warehouse team
  • Develop strong understanding of 49th product mix and brand promise
  • Ensure 49th brand integrity is maintained across all online channels
  • Coordinate asset needs with Creative Director
  • Leverage social media as needed, working in collaboration with Creative Director
  • Completes regular competitive audits
  • Manage one direct report, eCommerce Specialist
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or minimum of 4 years’ experience in eCommerce
  • Shopify experience
  • Experience building or managing a successful Amazon business
  • Familiarly with web UI/UX best practices
  • Knowledge of best practices in all areas of eCommerce including consumer experience, product merchandising, shopping cart and checkout, order management, Google analytics, search and guided navigation, SEO, personalization
  • Proven success managing eCommerce business initiatives from concept to implementation with quantifiable results
  • Builds strong internal working relationships
  • Is reliable, self-motivated, and highly organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proven leadership P&L responsibility
  • Strong project management skills
  • Success with leading and executing expansive growth
  • Excellent analytical and statistical skills
